他告诉《每日新闻》，房子所在的地区向来不曾发生水灾，岂料湍急的洪水经过房子，导致房子结构破裂并损毁。
庆幸的是，房子坍塌时，夫妻俩和五名孩子并没有住在里面，而是居住在岳母的家里，一家人的生命并无大碍。
