我们在农历新年期间互相祝福，但是一句简单的贺词，竟然能够掀起争议，就连一些艺人也因此“踩雷”，被迫道歉收场，究竟是为什么呢？
每逢农历新年，每个人的嘴里，见面第一句话，离不开“新年快乐”、“恭喜发财”、“万事如意”等传统贺词。
那么，换成英文的话，“农历新年”这词该怎么说呢？
- Chinese New Year
- Lunar New Year
此时，你可能会OS：“这还要选咩？当然是Chinese New Year啦！”
在马来西亚，“Chinese New Year”确实是被广泛接受和采用的英文翻译，偶尔也可见一些人使用“Lunar New Year”作为新春佳节的代名词。
虽然只有一词之差，但在海外网民中却掀起了激烈辩论。
比较为人所知的，就是去年有韩国艺人先后因为“Chinese”或“Lunar”之词而惹议。
先是女团NewJeans成员Danielle在专属通讯应用程序Phoning问候粉丝时，只因为用了“Chinese New Year”而遭到韩国网民开骂。
随后，少女时代成员徐玄在社交媒体Instagram使用“Happy Lunar New Year”一词，结果掀起中国网民的挞伐声浪。
而在马来西亚的我们，可能会很好奇：一句简单的贺词，为何能吵翻天？
